The first fully functional mobile credit union on wheels

Carolina Sat Net Solutions helps create the first mobile credit union to help the People's Federal Credit Union reach its more rural customers. The bank needed a mobile solution to get it to their customers. The mobile credit union had to be as well-equipped and functional as a traditional bank. The system had to support voice, video, and data in a secure environment. Through satellite, CSN built an IP connection for the mobile bank , and an internal LAN connection with 4 personal computers, 4 Voice over IP phones, plus other essential office equipment such as printers and faxes. The mobile bank could then act exactly the same as a traditional brick-and-morter bank taking deposits, cashing checks, and allowing ATM access from a remote location. Talk about convenience.
